The Rebuttal plugin

This plugin enables conferences to have a rebuttal phase, where (preliminary) reviews are sent to authors and the authors can respond to these reviews through EasyChair. It is not included in the initial EasyChair configuration.

To enable the plugin

1. Access the configuration page (Administration -> Configure)
2. In the plugins part, click on Enable in the Rebuttal row

Once the plugin is enabled by a chair, a new tab called “Rebuttal” will appear at the top of the page for the chairs:

To add submissions to rebuttal,

1. Click on "Rebuttal" in the main menu
2. Click on "Add submissions" in the context menu
3. Select submissions and confirm

One can select submissions by decision and, in a multi-track conference, also by track.

During this phase being active, the authors will be able to see the reviewers’ comment within their author environment and will be able to respond back to the reviewers.
