This paper synthesizes the capabilities of prominent ERP systems—SAP, Oracle, MRI, iScala, PeopleSoft, JDE, Salesforce, and QuickBooks—highlighting their roles in financial operations and their readiness for AI-driven transformation. Additionally, this paper explores the application of ERP systems in emerging industries such as fintech and biopharma, where the integration of AI and ERP is becoming increasingly crucial for competitive advantage. Recent advancements in AI, such as the development of more sophisticated machine learning algorithms and natural language processing capabilities, are further enhancing the potential of ERP systems to drive business innovation and efficiency.
