Speed Compatible Green Wave Coridor with Internet of Objects

Today, Intelligent Transportation Systems are becoming widespread. The green wave systems in the Smart Transportation Systems are used with the fixed cycle values of the phase times and the total cycle time unchanged structure. These systems must be included in the smart transport class and adapted to the environment. With this study, the green wave system has been realized by transforming the green wave system into Intelligent Transportation Systems on a corridor with varying phase duration. Data collection points on the green wave corridor, speed detection points and intersection control devices were communicated and the duration of the intersections was changed according to the traffic density and the waiting times of the other vehicles and pedestrians in the corridor were reduced and traffic safety was increased.
