Abstract

For  any  NxN  square  matrix  X,  higher powers  of  it,  can  be  expressed  in  terms  of  { I, X, ....., X power N-1 }.  The  coefficients  of   them  are   proved  to  be  expressible  in  terms  of  companion  matrix  of  X.
