Abstract

The economies of the countries are linked to the changes generated by globalization and its effects on indicators such as employment, technological development, the distribution of wealth, the exploitation of resources, and the quality of life. The creation of companies has been a consequence of trying to contain the negative effects of this global phenomenon on local economies. This topic has been studied by different researchers, public and private institutions, as well as national and international organizations to explain the entrepreneurship factors that intervene in its consolidation, however, the absence of the integration of all the elements, yield results that only explain a part of the topic.

This research analyzes the characteristics of the individual and the context in which it develops, through a public program that encourages the development of entrepreneurial skills and is based on the CANVA method for the creation of companies at the local level. The participation of 100 entrepreneurs from the Los 100 Program of the Municipality of Mérida is essential to achieve the objective.
