Implementation of Clinical Engineering Units in Public Health Establishments of Ecuador

Abstract

This article shows the methodology for the creation and implementation of the first Clinical Engineering Unit in a Third Level Health Facility of the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador. Additional to the methodology that is implemented for the creation of the first Clinical Engineering Unit in a Health Establishment of the Third Level of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS).
