Abstract

This paper reviews the processes involved in the training of translators, specifically the perception of self-efficacy in students and teachers in the area of Translation. This subjective part of the psychophysiological component, which is part of PACTE's holistic model of translator competence (2000, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019). Within the aforementioned component, we sought to record and make this variable, which, although emotional, is very important for the future development of the translator, after graduation, when facing real translation assignments. The results show that students have a more inclined attitude towards ICT learning than their teachers.
