Submission Guidelines
Full Papers
STAG aims to offer a forum for discussing novel ideas and results in Computer Graphics and Visual Computing. We welcome papers and posters addressing both theoretical and application-oriented aspects of research, as well as papers describing open libraries and tools. STAG also encourages dialogue and cross-fertilization between different fields, including Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing, Computer Vision, and Human-Computer Interaction.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers, as well as dataset papers and software papers.
Research papers (not exceeding 10 pages in length, excluding references) are expected to propose innovative mathematical theories and computational techniques in the fields of Computer Graphics, Geometric Modeling, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, and related disciplines.
Dataset papers (not exceeding 8 pages in length, excluding references) are expected to be more than just a dump of raw data. They should provide, document, and discuss new larger and/or more challenging datasets or datasets that stimulate new challenges in either computer graphics or computer vision (e.g., new kinds of data that, in turn, demand new kinds of algorithms).
Software papers (not exceeding 8 pages in length, excluding references) are expected to be stand-alone papers describing and discussing innovative scientific software and/or open libraries. Upon acceptance, source code must be released according to an open-source license through a public git repository.
Additional details about the full papers submission can be found here.
Posters
Authors are invited to submit proposals for poster presentations at STAG 2023. We welcome posters that present recent results, work in progress, new ideas, small-scale projects, and experiments that may be of interest to the community, but which are still too speculative, incomplete, or whose scope is not wide enough to warrant a full paper. Posters provide a good opportunity for displaying and discussing ideas. We encourage submissions in all areas of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Visual Computing, Extended Reality, and related disciplines.
Posters will be displayed during the conference, whereas a dedicated poster session will run in conjunction with the social event. Authors of accepted posters are expected to attend to their posters during the poster session.
Additional details about the posters submission can be found here.
