The International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications (FPL) was the first and remains the largest conference covering the rapidly growing area of field-programmable logic, reconfigurable computing, and applications. The conference continues to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry from around the world. Many of the advances in reconfigurable system architectures, applications, embedded processing, design automation methods, and tools have been first published in the proceedings of the FPL conference series.
Contributions within (but not limited to) the following topics related to Field-Programmable Logic and Applications are very welcome:
● Architectures and Technology
● Application Acceleration
● Programming Models and Languages
● System Software and Environment Support
● Design Methods and Tools
● Safety-Critical Applications
● High-Performance Computing
● High Integrity Computing Architectures
Submission Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers in IEEE double-column format (templates are available on the IEEE website). Full papers can include up to six pages of content plus up to two pages for references. Short papers are limited to four pages plus up to two pages of references. For both kinds of contributions, the total length can be extended by up to two pages already at submission time, to be paid for later during registration. All paper submissions must be done through EasyChair. The submission instructions can be found on the conference webpage (follow the “Call for Contributions” link on the main page):http://asaclab.polito.it/fpl2024/
FPL 2024 uses a double-blind reviewing system. Manuscripts must not identify authors or their affiliations; those that do will not be considered. References to the authors’ prior work should be made in the 3rd person, in the same way one would reference work by others. If necessary to maintain anonymity, citations may be shown as “Removed for blind review”. Non-anonymous prints (on arXiv, social media, websites, etc.) are permitted. Authors may submit work already available as a preprint (e.g., on arXiv) without citing it; however, previously published papers by the authors on related topics must be cited (with adequate anonymization).
