SCOPE OF THE BOOK: This edited book will present a deep insight for modeling, procuring, and building the smart city plan using IoT and a security framework using blockchain technology. The applications of the latest technologies like Li-Fi and 5G in smart cities will also be presented, along with their implementation challenges and advantages. A roadmap from 4G to 5G or even 6G along with the challenges in the implementation, will also be discussed. To plan and develop state-of-the-art infrastructure of a smart city, the major domains in which IoT will consider are individual networks (such as smart education, transport, healthcare, agriculture, energy, buildings, business, etc.) connecting with proper security and management.
