15. SAXSIM 2026 - Call for papers
Das erfolgreiche und branchenübergreifende Sächsische Simulationsanwendertreffen SAXSIM (Saxon Simulation Meeting) lädt im März 2026 alle Wissenschaftler:innen und Praktiker:innen wieder nach Chemnitz ein. Ausgerichtet von der Fakultät für Maschinenbau der TU Chemnitz und fachlich unterstützt durch das Institut Chemnitzer Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. erwartet Sie im Spannungsfeld CAD, CAE, Simulation und Berechnung ein umfassendes Programm. Die Tagung wird ab 2026 erstmalig von einem Programmausschuss unterstützt, der die hohe inhaltliche Qualität und spezifische Bandbreite sicherstellt.
Unsere Veranstaltung steht einem breiten Fachpublikum und CAD-/MKS-/FEM- sowie allen anderen Simulations- und Softwareanwendungen offen. Die Vorträge geben Einblicke in aktuelle Forschungsfelder, es gibt Workshops zur Weiterbildung sowie viele Best-Practice-Beispiele aus Wissenschaft und Industrie.

Hiermit rufen wir auf, sich mit einem Fachvortrag am 15. SAXSIM zu beteiligen. Ab diesem Jahr gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, sich für eine Begutachtung Ihres Abstracts durch unseren kompetenten Programmausschuss zu entscheiden.
Themenschwerpunkte - Topics
Folgende Themenschwerpunkte aus der akademischen Forschung werden adressiert:
- Modellbasiertes Systems Engineering
- Neuste Simulationsansätze (CAE/MKS/FEM/MBD/CFD) aus den Bereichen der Antriebstechnik, Maschinenelemente, Fertigung und Anlagenentwicklung
- Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion (digitales Menschmodell)
- KI-Anwendungen zur Unterstützung der Simulation, virtuelle Sensorik und Surrogatmodelle, Analyse
- Digitale Zwillinge zur Prozess- und Produktoptimierung

Begutachtete Abstracts werden in einem separaten Tagungsband veröffentlicht.

15. SAXSIM 2026 - Call for papers
The successful and cross-industry Saxon Simulation Meeting (SAXSIM) invites all scientists and practitioners to Chemnitz again in March 2026. Organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology and with technical support from the Chemnitz Institute of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, a comprehensive program awaits you in the field of CAD, CAE, simulation, and calculation. Starting in 2026, the conference will be supported for the first time by a program committee that will ensure the high quality of its content and the specific range of its expertise.
Our event is open to a broad audience of experts and users of CAD/MBS/FEM as well as all other simulation and software applications. The presentations provide insights into current research fields, there are continuing education workshops, and numerous best-practice examples from science and industry.

We hereby invite you to submit a presentation at the 15th SAXSIM. Starting this year, you will also have the option of having your abstract reviewed by our expert program committee.

If you wish to have your contribution reviewed, please submit your abstract using the template provided here: Template for paper with review
Reviewed abstracts will be published in a separate conference proceedings volume.
For contributions without a review request, a shorter abstract of up to 2 A4 pages is sufficient: Template for paper without a review
