The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework is a holistic area that emphasizes the impact of organizations’ operations on the environment, their relationships with their stakeholders, their impact on society at large, as well as the management and overall governance of the organizations. The specific ESG dimensions that received significant attention from both theoretical and practical perspectives include greenhouse gas emission, management of natural resources, climate change, natural disasters, human resources management, labor standards, social responsibility, community involvement, executives’ compensation, and shareholders’ rights and obligations. Nevertheless, existing narratives focus extensively on the environmental aspect, while the other dimensions received significantly less attention. ESG2023 aims to increase knowledge and awareness of all the ESG dimensions and their practical applications to business and society.
The conference accepts conceptual and empirical studies that address the ESG dimensions in a variety of fields.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to other journals or conferences.
Abstracts should be in English and should be submitted as PDF via the Conference easychair page.
The submission should include a list of all authors and indicate their full contact details and affiliations.
The submitted abstract should be structured, in approximately 300 words and include the following components:
- Research purpose
- Motivation for the study
- Research methods
- Summary of findings
- Practical implications
- Contribution
- Indication of how the study relates to the Conference's main theme or sub-themes.
