Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
- Authors are welcome and are now asked to submit their abstracts, original research papers and presentations for review. Full papers are given preference. Topics can broadly include: As higher education and business continues to navigate the post pandemic world, companies face unprecedented challenges in populating the next group of industry leaders. Now, more than ever, we all recognize this economic imperative, and the unique role higher education can play in preserving the competitiveness of the workforce. Relationships that integrate both students and employers help educators understand the needs of industry including in-demand competencies, while helping to grow the talent pipeline. The 2024 ACBSP Conference will focus on effective education-industry opportunities that have a vision of student success, connection to local workforce demands, and continuous improvement.
- Presentations and Posters on the same or similar theme
- Manuscripts that are submitted for review should not be under consideration for publication or published by any other scholarly journal.
- Authors are requested to adhere to the journal's copyright and academic integrity policy.
- The ACBSP Region 8 Conference Journal of Proceedings requires that all submissions for review and publication be submitted electronically and written in English. If English is not your first language, please ask an English-speaking colleague to proofread your paper. Presentations may be in any suitable technology for virtual applications. For abstracts, manuscripts to be accepted for publication, they must be in the following format:
- Text typed single-spaced on standard 8.5″ x 11″ (US letter) sized page
- Using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman font.
- Main text should be sized 12 font.
- Major headings should be sized 14 font.
- Using Microsoft Word with Times New Roman font.
- Manuscripts should be prepared in the style of the APA (American Psychological Association) Publication Manual (available at http://www.apastyle.org/manual/index.aspx)
- All currency units should be stated in US $ equivalent terms
- Acronyms should be spelled out in full in English when used for the first time in a manuscript.
- Authors are responsible for citation corrections and proofing of the manuscripts for errors.
- Overall length of final manuscript limited to 20 pages (including all exhibits, figures, graphs, appendices and bibliography)

Submission Deadlines
These are the deadlines for submission, review, and notification for Almaty 2023:
- Author/Presenter Submission Deadline October 15, 2023
- Results of Review Process: October 24, 2023 (Author/Presenter Notification Deadline)
- Author/presenter acceptance (if successful) Deadline: October 25, 2023
- Successful authors and presenters, once notified, must accept by October 30th, 2023
- Authors must upload presentation slides by November 12th, 2023.
- Deadline for Final Version of Paper submission: November 12, 2023 (Applies to those submitting full papers only; preference to be given to full paper submissions).
Manuscripts, together with the separate submission of author's details, are to be submitted as two attached files File 1 Author details only and File 2 the actual paper less author details, combined into one document via EasyChair at EasyChair Submission.
All submissions will be acknowledged within two working days, failing to receive an acknowledgement please re-send or contact the editor

2023 Almaty proceedings will be published in ACBSP Region 8 Journal by ACBSP Region 8
Venue
The conference will be held in the campus of Kazakh-British Technical University in Almaty, the most populous in Kazakhstan and former capital - Almaty is the major commercial, financial, and cultural centre of Kazakhstan, as well as its most cosmopolitan city. The city is located in the mountainous area of southern Kazakhstan near the border with Kyrgyzstan in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau at an elevation of 700–900 m (2,300–3,000 feet), where the Large and Small Almatinka rivers run into the plain.
